Both, the Finnish registry (TRAFICOM) and the Irish registry (IE Domain Registry) have already been able to convince themselves of the reliable service in the past weeks and implemented RcodeZero as secondary DNS provider to strengthen their DNS infrastructure. The Slovenian Registry (ARNES) has been using RcodeZero for many years and has extended its contract.

This means that nic.at infrastructure provides supplementary hosting and security to the seventh biggest ccTLD in the EU with over 2.5 million domains. According DNSperf statistics, RcodeZero DNS is one of the fastest anycast providers worldwide.

The Dutch registry SIDN and Austria’s registry nic.at have signed a cooperation agreement, under which all domains managed by SIDN will additionally be hosted on the nic.at anycast network RcodeZero DNS. The agreement was announced by SIDN’s CEO Roelof Meijer and nic.at CEO Richard Wein on the sidelines of the ICANN meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
